Phosphene AI is a free, MIT-licensed studio for AI video with synced sound, images and songs that runs entirely on Apple Silicon Macs through MLX. It runs LTX-2.5 and MiniMax H3 for text-to-video and image-to-video, lip-synced talking characters, character LoRA training, P-H3-Image for 8 MP images, and a music studio, plus a built-in editor to cut clips into films. Everything renders locally: no account, nothing uploaded, and it works offline after the one-time model download. It installs in one click through Pinokio. It is slower than cloud services and needs 16 GB of memory (36 GB for H3); Intel Macs are not supported. H3's licence excludes the EU, UK, Korea and US. An optional paid Pro add-on is planned; everything available today stays free.
